Counselling with your therapist will be tailored to your needs and can depend on your aims / goals.
As therapy is offered online, or via telephone, your therapist will ensure they are operating from a safe and confidential space. A free 20 minute consultation is offered to discuss your needs and talk through any issues you may be experiencing, and how a therapist may be able to help.
The first session is about exploring how a therapist may be able to help you in a relaxed, open and confidential way. Feel free to raise any issues or questions concerning you. You may be asked some questions, but the session is not a test and rather will be more of an informal conversation. It is a way for you to get to know your therapist and to get an understanding of how they can work together to achieve your goals.
Nurtured Mind can help you with a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, relationship problems, stress management, and more. Our therapists will work with you to support you in meeting your unique needs and goals.
The frequency of counselling sessions with Nurtured Mind will depend on your individual needs and goals and is entirely up to you. It is recommended that you start with weekly sessions for the first 4 weeks to support your journey.
Every session is confidential, unless the therapist is concerned about risk to yourself or to others. In this case, your therapist will discuss with you next steps and support.
There is no predefined length of time, this is a healing process.
